It all began with a single phone call.

Jochen Schwenk, fresh out of university with an MBA under his belt, had quickly risen through the ranks to occupy a management role in purchasing at Johnson & Johnson in Europe. It was a position many would consider the pinnacle of their career. Yet, destiny had a different plan for Jochen.

His former boss from Johnson & Johnson, now in a leadership role at a prominent car manufacturer, dialed Jochen's number with a critical task. A supplier, crucial to their operations, was teetering on the brink of financial collapse. Could Jochen take a few days off to help navigate this turbulent storm?

Without hesitation, Jochen dove into the challenge. Days turned into nights as he worked tirelessly with the troubled supplier. And then, success.
